Quick Tip for Friday – removing sink stink

Before you leave on vacation or a weekend trip, sprinkle some baking soda in your sink drains, especially in the kitchen. It’s the perfect time to let the baking soda sit undisturbed. When you rinse it away after returning your kitchen will smell fresh and clean!

    • Lemon peels can bring a nice refreshing scent, and supposedly the citrus oils can help clean the inside of the disposal. But only do that when you are home and make sure you run it all clean afterwards. Leaving any type of food residue in the sink drains while you are gone is the sure path to more sink stink instead of less!
